Chef’s Table

The history of the Chef's Table dates back to the 1800s when Chef Oscar Tschirky, known as the King of the Waldorf Astoria kitchen, laid the foundation for arranging parties and picnics with his special menus. In those days, chefs cooked their dishes in front of close friends and family, bringing everyone together around one close-knit table. This tradition was continued by Golden Ocala’s Chef Rick, gathering 14 participants in his kitchen to demonstrate the cooking of the dishes he presented. Over time, the restaurant started reserving tables for groups of 30-50 people, which came to be known as Chef's Table. The key feature of the Chef's Table is serving dishes prepared by the chef in the kitchen as an exclusive presentation to a certain group of people.

The Chef's Table format is highly popular in restaurants across the United States and Europe. In some places, chefs simply interact with visitors while cooking, disclosing recipe secrets and discussing ingredients. In other restaurants, the Chef's Table is a true gastronomic experiment.

Gazelli Café created a special menu for Chef's Table events, developed by Chef Timur Pivkin to suit your occasion and concept. This service is perfect for corporate evenings, festive celebrations, business meetings, and parties with friends and family.
